Mar 16, 2023 · I'd say Fox has definitely passed J-Will and Boogie among players who have started their careers in Sacramento. If Fox ends up spending most of his career with the Kings and eventually gets to the Western Conference Finals/NBA Finals, that will be when he passes Peja in my book. For now I would rate Fox and Peja about the same.

That is a pretty spicy take. During his Sacramento years, Mitch made it to 6 ASGs, won an ASG MVP, and got a gold medal. He was a beacon in an otherwise pitch-black era. He also never had the help Fox currently has. I love Fox, but he is not there yet.
