President Donald Trump began his second administration with a blitz of policy actions to reorient U.S. government priorities

The orders signed at the White House included a directive to end birthright citizenship, a move sure to spark a constitutional fight over the 14th Amendment.

Those policy changes were expected to start rolling in fast in the first hours and days of his second term after a campaign in which Trump vowed to launch the largest deportation operation in the country’s history.
