Vice presidential candidates Gov. Tim Walz and Sen. JD Vance squared off for the first and only time this election season. Unlike the last two presidential debates, the candidates appeared to be more cordial.

While the Walz-Vance debate, which was noted for being a relatively civil affair, was viewed by almost 25 percent less people than its predecessor, the Harris-Pence debate was also the second-most watched VP debate since Nielsen began keeping records.

The running mates for former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will face off in what could be a tense affair.
