Murder suspect manhunt after woman dies in Plymouth
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Plymouth, police have said. Officers said they were called at 20:55 GMT on Wednesday after a woman in her 40s was found seriously injured in the street on West Hoe Road.

A woman in her 40s was found seriously injured in the street on West Hoe Road. The woman was taken to hospital but sadly pronounced deceased in the early hours. The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other and a manhunt in underway.
Police name ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect on run after woman killed in Plymouth
Paul Antony Butler, 53, is wanted in connection to with the death of the woman in West Hoe Road in Plymouth last night. Detectives warned the public not to approach “armed and dangerous” Butler but call them if he is spotted. He appears to refer to himself on social media as the Stangray Strangler - in reference to a street name close to the scene.
Man arrested on suspicion of Plymouth murder
A man wanted in connection with the death of a woman in Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police have confirmed. Paul Antony Butler, 53, had been arrested about 20 miles away in Liskeard and remains in police custody, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
