(WDAM) - Another big night from Denijay Harris Thursday helped the University of Southern Mississippi to an 84-67 win over visiting University of Louisiana-Monroe at Reed Green Coliseum. Harris scored 19 points and grabbed 18 rebounds as USM (7-9, 2-2 Sun Belt Conference) evened its record in league play.

The Warhawks (4-16, 0-7) were led in scoring by Jalen Bolden, who finished with 16 points and four steals. Jacob Wilson added 15 points and seven rebounds for UL Monroe. Jerry Ngopot had 11 points and seven rebounds. The loss is the ninth straight for the Warhawks.

(AP) — Kentrell Garnett had 15 points and Christian Wright made four free throws in the final 13 seconds to help Louisiana ... over UL Monroe on Saturday night. Garnett also had five assists for the Ragin' Cajuns (5-12, 3-2 Sun Belt Conference).

MONROE, La. — Thomas Dowd had 16 points in Troy’s 77-58 victory against UL Monroe on Wednesday night.

Former South Alabama running back Braylon McReynolds is transferring to Louisiana-Monroe, he announced Monday. McReynolds, a Mobile native who starred at McGill-Toolen Catholic School, will be reunited with his high school coach in Monroe. Earnest Hill is entering his second season as Warhawks’ defensive coordinator.
