The NFL's biggest stars are heading to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, where the best of the AFC and NFC will showcase their talents in a multi-day skills competition.
The second half of Pro Bowl Games does include a football game, but it is no longer a game of tackle football. Now it’s a 7-on-7 flag football game, punctuated by four more skills competitions: EA Sports Madden NFL 25 Challenge, Punt Perfect, The Great Football Race and Tug-of-War.
Receivers Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and rookie Malik Nabers of the New York Giants, running back Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons and center Erik McCoy of the New Orleans Saints were added to this week's Pro Bowl Games,

Evans is replacing Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is unable to participate due to an injury. According to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this is the sixth career Pro Bowl Honor for Evans tying him for the third most selections by a Buccaneer in franchise history.
There will be 88 NFL stars competing in Orlando, including Trey Hendrickson who led the NFL in sacks with 17.5 for the Cincinnati Bengals.
A year ago, Mayfield was a late addition to the Pro Bowl but made a huge impact in the flag football game. He came off the bench to throw two touchdowns, including one to Lamb, his former Oklahoma teammate, to give the NFC a 55-53 lead near the end of the third quarter. That performance earned Mayfield the Most Valuable Offensive Player award.
Former NFL defensive end and five-time Pro Bowl selectee J.J. Watt doesn't appear to be a big fan of the sheer quantity of players opting out of the games. He raised that issue on social media while floating a harsh new nickname for the Pro Bowl Games.
Mayfield, previously named a first alternate, joins Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) and Sam Darnold (Minnesota Vikings) as the NFC quarterbacks. Mike Evans from the Bucs was recently added to the roster after CeeDee Lamb's injury, while teammates Vita Vea and Tristan Wirfs already selected.
