Davood Ghadami, widely recognised for his role in EastEnders, looks unrecognisable as he steps into a brand new character in the upcoming series House of David on Prime Video. The 42 year old Essex-born actor will be playing Eliab in this Bible drama series.
Ghadami's role in House of David marks his first significant part since leaving EastEnders, where he portrayed Kush Kazemi from 2014 to 2021. The actor featured in approximately 650 episodes of the soap before moving on to roles in Holby City and Casualty, as well as minor parts in Beyond Paradise and The Chelsea Detective.
House of David is the latest Bible series, following in the footsteps of Dallas Jenkins’ The Chosen, which recounted the life and times of Jesus. The role is Ghadami’s first major one away EastEnders, where he played Kush Kazemi between 2014 and 2021.
