The Boston Police Department said they responded to a call Wednesday evening reporting a one-car crash at the Ashmont Nursery School on 1 Ashmont Street in Dorchester.

A man died after being shot on Ridgewood Street in Dorchester on Tuesday evening, Boston police said. At approximately 7:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot and found an adult male “suffering from a gunshot wound,” police said in a press release.
