President Trump’s executive order required the release of classified documents related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. Mr. Trump promised during his reelection campaign to declassify the documents.

In the executive order regarding the three assassinations, Trump wrote: “Their families and the American people deserve transparency and truth.”
