Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially entered the Indian market by unveiling its premium electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi.

Eco variant features a single electric motor which puts out 201bhp and 310Nm of torque. The Plus variant gets dual motors with 349bhp of power and 500Nm of torque. Both variants come paired with a 75.

VinFast has taken covers off its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India, marking the company's entry into the Indian market.

This fast and furious expansion is happening even as VinFast is awaiting some hand holding from the government in the form of a concessional import duty regime that India is willing to offer to those global electric vehicle OEMs who commit themselves to invest in setting up a manufacturing base for electric vehicles in the country.

The VinFast VF3, a compact electric SUV, was showcased at Auto Expo 2025. With a micro SUV design, it features a minimalistic interior, a 10-inch touchscreen, and seating for four. It's powered by a 32 kW motor,
