Goalie Jordan Binnington, frantic-yet-composed, pushed across the crease and reached for Bjorkstrand’s shot, snagging it in his mitt. Seattle couldn’t score and Binnington’s save preserved the score.

Binnington made 30 saves in a 3-2 win over Seattle on Tuesday. Binner put up strong numbers in 2023-24 and came out of the blocks with the same approach on the ice this year. With the win, Binnington became the Blues all-time leader in wins in a season opener.
