Officials confirmed Sunday that the road had reopened after the closure had expanded to a 3-mile radius after an 18-wheeler crashed and emitted a chemical smell.
In an update on DPS said its air monitoring had not detected anything hazardous. The shelter-in-place order has since been lifted, and residents can safely return home.
