The Redditor's sister had ordered the iPhone 15 with VIP service, which includes an open box delivery, where the customer can inspect the product before accepting it.

A resident of Bengaluru nearly fell prey to a scam. In a post on Reddit, the individual reported that the scammer pretended to be a Flipkart delivery agent and attempted to deliver a sealed box, asserting that it held the iPhone 15 he had supposedly ordered.

In the post, the Redditor shared that their sister had ordered the iPhone 15 with VIP service, which allows customers to inspect the product before accepting it. However, when the delivery arrived, the person delivering the package refused to follow the open box protocol.

Sharing his ordeal on Reddit, the Bengaluru resident stated that his sister had ordered a iPhone 15 with 256GB storage and paid for the phone in advance.
