A boil water advisory has been issued for the City of Washington on Thursday due to a water leak, according to officials.

The city has issued a boil water advisory for part of Flint’s south side because of a water main break. The boil water advisory covers an area from Dort Highway on the east to Red Arrow Road on the west and from Atherton Road on the north to Hemphill Road on the south.

Johnson City officials say parts of the village are under a Boil Water advisory due to a water main break. The impacted areas are as follows: Residents of these areas are asked to boil water prior to consumption, including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation.
