Apple is close to starting production of an updated iPhone SE that will serve as a new low-end model and is also aiming to manufacture new iPad Air models, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

With the iPhone 16 launch out of the way, Apple is preparing a flurry of new products and a move to the M4 processor for all of its Macs. We're expecting to see the first batch of M4 Macs in November 2024, including new MacBook Pros, an iMac and a dramatically different Mac mini.

Additionally, Apple is working on a new iPad Mini, potentially arriving by late 2024, as well as a refreshed Mac lineup. The updated Macs, including a revamped Mac mini, MacBook Pros, and iMacs, will feature Apple’s M4 chip and advanced AI integration. Further Mac upgrades, including for the MacBook Air and Mac Pro, are expected in 2025.
