DIRECTV Stream and 4k channels (vs DIRECTV) - DBSTalk Forum
WEBFeb 26, 2023 · I’m using DIRECTV‘s Stream device. What I’m missing is the linear 4k channel that is on DIRECTV. It was channel 104. I think it was an in-house channel so it seems strange they would not include it with DIRECTV stream.

WEBJun 29, 2002 · I agree with you. Directv for 20 years, Dish for 4, and Dish is superior. Hopper 3 beats Genie hands down. The DISH remote is better than Directv's. Have my Directv and Dish dishes side by side and receivers on both and rain fade is much less on Dish. OTA support, DISH for the win.

Their latest model of DVR does not even have the capability to record OTA; that is relegated to older models such as the HR-44/54 and HR-24 and either a USB dongle that I don't even know if they make anymore or an ancient AIM-21.
