WEBAug 16, 2019 · Hosts Leaving. Two words. Age discrimination. Did you notice the hosts who have “left” (or leaving soon) HSN and QVC since the merger are ‘seasoned ” (of a certain age.) They are replaced with younger, cheaper hosts. I understand seasoned Hosts are more expensive. However, these hosts have a loyal following.

As I said above, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they move everyone to Pa so that they can merge into one shopping channel. At one time these owners purchased HSN. However, later on, they brought in QVC as a high quality shopping network.

I stopped following that network because it got on my nerves so badly. It always seems to be the females sharing the spotlight with male co-hosts. They really push it too far.
